Overview
The annual herb grows to a height of 20 in. It has oval shaped leaves which are approximately 2 inches from stem to tip and 4 inches wide. The leaves lower down the plant are slightly bigger. It is in bloom from May to summer. The flowers grow sporadically towards the top of the plant forming a loose cluster. The corolla, which has red buds, turns light blue after blooming.
