Overview
Has a compact head with straight growth direction. It grows to 24 - 28 inches and is very resistant to early flowering. Has medium-small white stalks and smooth, dark green pointed leaves. The main characteristic of “Bietina di Sarno” chard is that both the stalks and greens can be used.

Maintenance Notes
Sowing Period From spring to autumn in a seedbed or directly outdoord. If sown in a seedbed, the seedlings should be uprooted when they have 4-5 leaves. Remove the upper part and tip of the primary root and plant out in rows 16 - 24 inches apart, leaving 12 - 16 inches between rows.
